Creative Kids

My kids love to be creative and amaze me sometimes with what they come up with. This is what happened when they discovered a bunch of note cards in the "art supply box". It was a fun game for them that went on all yesterday afternoon and evening.

Isaac wanted lunch at 10:15 this morning and he wanted a specific lunch. A peanut butter sandwich cut into "lots of pieces" and banana pieces all around it for a "pretend birthday cake, because today is my pretend birthday." He even found a candle and made me put it on top, light it, and sing happy birthday to him before he ate. :0)

Halen would have LOVED to partipate in that game. It reminds me of what my kids do. They have each set up their own LIBRARY. It is in their rooms, they have bar coded some books, they have a pretend scanner, a checkout log, etc. etc. Signs that say the rules for the library as well as hours of operation. If we only lived closer to each other...our kids would be soul mates. They already are really just only about once a year. Thanks for sharing the posts! So cute. We miss you guys. How was LAva Hot springs?
