The kids had been playing some keep away game or something and I still don't quite understand what happened but Megan ended up falling back against the corner of a wall and splitting her head open. Kaitlin had something to do with it, hence her sad face in the picture.
Luckily, though I'm not sure that's the appropriate word here, we've had numerous other head splitting incidents and we've learned how to super glue them rather than take them to the urgent care. It saves money and trauma since the one time we took Kaitlin in for her split head it took the doctor, two nurses, and myself to hold her down while they stapled it shut. It would have helped if the doctor wouldn't have held up the wicked looking device and showed it to Kaitlin saying, "This is what we're going to use to staple your head shut." Kaitlin was about 4 years old.
Anyway, to all of you parents out there who haven't tried the super glue option yet, it's a good one and relatively easy. Besides, it's what they're likely to do at the urgent care anyway.
Here's to hoping the rest of our day goes better...

Oh, you got some really good pictures!! We had so much fun. It was much less stressful for me to be there with you all than at Redfish. Although, it was a really pretty fun place, my kids just got along so well with yours and we had to be on constant watch with the cousins at Redfish to stop problems. So anytime you want to move closer to us we welcome you with open arms! We know that won't happen but it would be fun. WE MISS YOU ALL!!
