A couple of Wednesdays ago, our home preschool group went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. It was a pretty cold day, but luckily, not too windy and no snow or rain. The boys were excited all morning to finally get to go to the "Pun'kin Patch!" as Isaac called it. Once we were there though, they clung to me and didn't want to be involved, or (in Isaac's case) be in any pictures. They warmed up a bit later though.
The patch owners told us that since we had such a late spring everything was planted late and was blooming late so most of the fruit we saw was still pretty green. Here's Reese with his multi-hued pumpkin.
Here's Reese holding Isaac's pumpkin. Isaac wouldn't hold it because it was "too cold!" Isaac was specific on what he wanted in a pumpkin. It had to be "little!" and "orange!" (It was very orange on the other side, and of course, now they are both almost completely orange.)
There was a kid's sized hay bale maze which the kids loved.
Reese's class includes "Big" Isaac, Reese, Hannah, Erika, and Brittni in front.
Reese was king of the hay bale (it was one of those huge circular ones tipped on its end) and he was showing me his big muscles.
This was taken while everyone else was leaving. All the other moms got pictures at first, while my boys were being uncooperative.
Did I mention that Isaac did not want his picture taken? :)

Cute pumpkin patch. When we went to one a few weeks ago, the big kids kept running on TOP of the hay bails and scaring my girls and all the other little ones. Plus, it was way too crowded for our tastes/ages. ;)
